Crazy price. Maybe 15ish years ago I was trying to partner with a fast growing production machine shop I had a good relationship with. They couldn't be bothered with these for less than ~$90/each in full pallet quantities, with me providing the forgings and getting them back still needing anodizing.

Sounds like they only want the tools and skilled workforce, not the legal headache that comes with more evil black guns.

Sounds to me like they think they can use it to make more money selling finished firearms. They sell scary black guns already and seems they still will. I’m guessing selling stripped lowers at $50 isn’t worth it for them but selling finished rifles for $800+ is.

I’m a Ruger fan. If they’re making enough scratch to buy out other companies, it tells me that they’re planning to be relevant for a good long while.

I ordered 3. Had to throw in a cheap castle nut to get it over $90. "Free" shipping and no tax. Had a tracking number in two hours. It'll be at my FFL by Monday
