I'm all in favor of any sort of resistance, but geographically it seems an odd choice. Its literally the farthest place in the state for a lot of people. Albany makes sense, since it's the capitol, or Syracuse for its central location, but Buffalo makes as much sense as Long Island.

Erie County and surrounding counties have a strong SCOPE presence here, we even have some local founding members. They're keeping the message alive, although on a budget. This is in the Lt. Governors back yard. Any FU to Albany is a good FU. I'm looking forward to meeting some counter protesters.

When did you get this email? Did they really only give 5 days notice?! I'm all about the 2A, but I see no reason why SCOPE should have ANYTHING to do with manufacturing jobs, security/immigration, and infrastructure. SCOPE needs to be a 2A organization, not a right-leaning one. And, that's part of the reason why I let my membership lapse.

It's Tresmonds' home turf. Any "monumental announcements" coming from that end of the state should be treated as complete bullshit now that he is associated with the organization. He has ZERO credibility as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, since SCOPE has aligned themselves with him, so do they.

The big announcement is the "federal bill" has been written and has sponsers such that federal law would prohibit state and local laws from superseding national laws. It would trump activist federal judges.
