Range day - snow gone / mud almost gone.

Well, plus and minuses. Range, and 100 through 400 are healthy and going. 500 seems to have been pushed away by the snow (must have been an Al Gore global warming glacier?). Photos of the day below:

Alas poor 500; we knew thee well. I will have to get out there with the auger on the back of the Deere when the mud goes away and fix it.

Range was fine but some animal pooped on my astroturf (WTF?)

Fresh paint on 100, 200, 300, and 400 and ready to go.

Running the 700 Police with the SA Government Gen-3 on top. Dialed in from the fall and ringing the plate at 400 (and oops - hit the cable LOL)

Tried out the S&W Model 10 in 357 that I bought.

Nice setup! I hope to get to the range soon myself it's been far too long. My pistols need some exercise.

Man, you must have really been squinting to get that cable!


BTW, on another thread (forget which one, but their credit not mine) they used firehose or conveyer belt material , which is "self healing", compared to chain or cable. Just an idea.

If you offered me a billion dollars to hit the stupid cable, I couldn't. But apparently for free I can accidentally destroy it. I'll have to buy chain at Lowes.

I have an 8" auger for the Deere when the ground dries and I'll stuff in 6"x6" poles like I did at 100 through 400.
