There are 2 reasons I like the Tac-14 over the shockwave.
1) the safety (makes adding an arm brace actually useful)
2) pre tapped for an optic rail, and can put on an RMR or similar Red Dot
***edit*** looks like I was wrong with #2 and have it reversed, the shockwave is the one pretapped

The Shockwave is pre tapped for a rail.
I thought it was the tac14 that came pre tapped.

Mine came pretapped as well. The tac14 I looked at did not come pre tapped for an optics rail.
I stand corrected. Fair enough.
