Let me clarify a bit. Should have said not JUST protests, demonstrations, and marches. There would be all of those but, given the climate of today and the willingness of leftists to rage, I believe these would lead to violence and, quite likely, deaths because of it.

And I do not feel bad about being nonchalant about an old person's health on account of the importance of their position and my belief that being in that position willingly given her apparent physical state is irresponsible.
There was a comment above about this not being physically challenging, but it is--or should be--a high intensity position that includes substantial stress. People at 85 are operating at diminished mental capacity from younger years. Period. There are some 85 year olds who are spry and still on the money, even if weakened. Can anybody watch this interview and say she qualifies? She is already feeble. And yet only one of 9 judges who make profound, generational decisions affecting millions of people.

Since Cuomo is planning to imminently rape our rights again, we better hope the supreme court takes as far of a turn right as we can. I don't even feel guilty or bad saying it. Its in our best interests for President trump to appoint as many constitutional judges as possible In the next year. Even if it's 1 judge it will be a great accomplishment and may make the difference in striking down the safe act and safe act 2.0
I saw it with both of my parents, - that in your advanced years, with each injury or medical episode, that the person recovers at a lower level.
That is, that their quality of life drops a few notches each time. Physically weaker; mentally less with it,- until their bodies simply cannot continue to deal with the decline, and they die. Or, their pain can become too much to deal with, and they simply give up and die of their own free will.
I don’t know what she weighs right now, but if her weight drops down into that 85-95 # range, she will get very close to checking out, despite the efforts of those on the left to keep her alive.
Just saw something that said her recovery time may be 3 or 4 months before she can work again. That begs the question: if she cannot work, and does not participate in actual SCOTUS hearings, does she have to refuse herself from rendering a decision? I certainly hope that is the case.
In any event, I give her 6 months or less. And I absolutely cannot wait to see the full blown shitstorm from the left when President Trump fills his 3rd SCOTUS vacancy!
