I like the Ontario Raider. Just wish it had a nicer handle, like wood or antler. I think that would ve the size I'm looking for.

Was watching Crocodile Dundee.

I like the Buck Frontiersman but it seems a little small for a bowie.

The Ontario Raider arrived today. Holy crap is ut substantial! The difference in the two is blatantly obvious, lol. The MossyOak has a neat old school look. It has a stainless steel blade (not sure what kind of stainless), is full tang and has a wooden handle with brass finger guard and pommel. It is made in China. The Ontario is more tactical looking, I'm not sure off hand of the blade material, but it is powder coated, synthetic handle material with good grip, is full tang, is much heavier and has a much thicker spine. It is made in the USA.
I think the MossyOak will make an excellent and interesting steak knife or even a kitchen knife. The Ontario is one I will take outside camping and what not.

Thanks. Yeah it’s not going anywhere. I bought it off a very good friend of mine when we were teenagers. Unfortunately he is no longer with us so, the next person to take ownership of it will be my son, who happens to also collect knives himself.
