IMO my take from 2mins of reading their website is I think it's a leftist attempt to hijack a name that middle Americans and blue collar democrats associate with and make it seem like it's them when in fact it seems just like ANTIFA rebranded as angry white country guy, when it's not actually the case. ANTIFA is wolf in sheep's clothing deliberately trying to deceive unsuspecting people to joining in thinking they are joining something else.

The Ontario Common Front is a coalition between the anti-poverty movement and the Ontario Federation of Labour. It includes more than 100 organizations and is a promising development. The Idle No More movement has provided new opportunities to make alliances between First Nations peoples and settler communities against the Liberals in Toronto and the Tories in Ottawa. As austerity creates more enemies and allies for us, unity is key to our strength.
The Young Communist League is fighting against the attacks on democracy and civil rights and for a Charter of Youth Rights that defends the rights of students and youth to employment, democracy, culture and leisure, full equality, free education, and other rights. This campaign is one vehicle that we can use to bring together movements like the campaign to raise the minimum wage with other social movements.
As a revolutionary organization, the YCL-Ontario recognizes the need to struggle for immediate reforms as a part of a much larger historic revolutionary process. Only through increasing the working-class’ capacity to struggle can we lay the foundation to win socialism.
We think the biggest problem facing the country, and indeed the entire world, is a capitalist system that puts profits before people. We say that it is time to get rid of capitalism and build something better – a system that defends peace, working people, the environment and democracy. We call that socialism! Words like fascist and authoritarian get thrown around too promiscuously. But there is no other way to describe David Clarke, who today announced that he was named assistant secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. (The Department has not confirmed Clarke’s appointment.) Clarke occupies the extremist, anti-democratic fringe of far-right officials, even by the standards of the Trump administration.
Clarke, a Milwaukee sheriff, rocketed into national prominence as a conservative provocateur by virtue of his rabid opposition to Black Lives Matter. Clarke is African-American, which has given him broader license to attack protesters in unbridled terms that thrill Republicans. He calls the group “Black Lies Matter,” or “black slime,” railing against its members as dangerous thugs. Clarke argues that not only does BLM go too far in its advocacy of criminal-justice reform, but that the cause itself is categorically illegitimate. He has lectured protesters to “stop trying to fix the police, fix the ghetto.”

The left has a purpose for them at this time.... Let some of the more crazy ones of this group use guns against say some Trump protesters more than once and a massive call for sweeping gun laws will ring out. Just a few small handful of folks used machine guns in the 30's in the pursuit of crime .. What 500-1000 members made up the "mob " and still to this day one has to go through hoops to own a machine gun .
