Reloading 45acp with small primers

I'm acquiring quite a pile of these. Wondering if the small primers necessitate an adjustment in the powder load. For target loads with large primers I am currently using 4.2gn of titegroup under a 230gn head.

Anytime you change components you should do a work up of the load. With that said most people don't find a difference between large and small primer. Personally I use the small primer stuff for out door defensive pistol shoots where the brass recovery is small.

Primers change load data

however with titegroup being such a fast burner & 45 being low pressure i have not noticed any difference in my loads for 45 and do not change powder charge when i load the spp blazer brass cases

I load my small and large primer 45's the same. No difference in accuracy.

same here, no difference recognized with the same powder loads.
