Reloading stool

What do You guys prefer for a stool for your reloading bench?
I have a single stage Hornady lock & load press so I'm standing a lot. I need a bar stool.

Should I get a flat stool that adjust or one that adjust with a back rest.

i made my own like this from oak pallet wood i salvaged ..

but i i find out the lower back gets a pain sitting there for while ..

a adjustable one would be better and even have a back rest too would be nice ..

even a lazyboy recliner if you have room would be the best heheee

I feel like I move around reaching for stuff enough that I couldn't take advantage of a backrest.

I use a metal stool similar to the one pictured above. A backrest would only get in the way.

My last bench came with the house. It was built high, wish I had measured it because it was the perfect house. I would say it was about 4" above waist height. I didnt think I would like it but I figured I should try it out. Come to find out I preferred it to sitting. I found it kept me more alert and felt like I strained less because I could get me back into it. So the next bench I will build will be high that sent require sitting. With all of that said if you already have a bench that requires sitting, I would a buy adjustable one with a back on it.

I recommend a stool like posted by Kev74. I had it and foolishly upgraded to rotating soft seat bar stool from Harbor Junk Co. Wish I didn't throw out my old stool.

Mine is the exact same type as @kev74. Works perfect for the height of my bench. No backrest for me. While it would probably be fine for when I'm sitting at the bench, just reading the paper, or smoking a cigar, it would just get in the way when reloading.

I need the stool for loading primers, sorting brass etc. I also do my "gunsmithing" and cleaning on the same bench so the stool in invaluable. When I'm working on the press I stand. I also grabbed one of those anti-fatigue rubber mats from work that I stand on. I makes it a lot easier on my feet and back.

I'll look around next Saturday for one. I would like one in the $50 to $75 range. I think soft covered and adjustable. Carquest had one for $49.99. I'll look at Sears and see what they have. I seen a Hornady one some where either online or in a catalog. If I remember correctly it was around $100. I,m not spending that much just for the name sake.

I think an adjustable one will.be the way to go.

Just got done loading 200 each, 6.5 Creedmoor rounds from start to finish took about 4 hours from brass prep to final round in the box. Stood the entire time. My back is now complaining at me. I usually sit down for brass prep but, I have been in bed sick for the past 3 days so I wanted some time on my feet. Well at least that chore is done, I may have to load some 308 tomorrow.
