The Minnesota cop who shot and killed an Australian bride-to-be was charged with murder and manslaughter, according to a report Tuesday.
Officer Mohamed Noor, 31 — who allegedly killed 40-year-old Justine Damond of Minneapolis in July — was booked into Hennepin County jail at 11:16 a.m., according to the Minnesota Star Tribune.
Noor was charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. His bail was set at $500,000, the paper reported.

It is Minnesota and it is a depraved mind / indifference charge ( 3rd degree murder charge).
There is also second-degree manslaughter charge which is acting with "culpable negligence creating unreasonable risk."
In that community, he could get a hung jury mistrial but his partner clearly reported it was a bad shoot. My guess is the DA is going to try a plea bargain.

Me too because if he is convicted he’s black or brown or whatever and white peoples got off. There will be race riots galor if he’s convicted. I think he should be convicted and I’m about as pro-cop as you get. He screwed up. If it was his trainingnor what he screwed up. It’s likely that he was boarderline and should not be a cop, but they passed him because of who he is. They did that with African Americans during my dads academy days. He watched them poke hole in a black females targets so she could pass firearms training. They also let her stay after class to retake tests she failed. He’s sure they have her the answers.

He did not enter a plea deal at a hearing on March 8th, so I think we'll se a trial maybe this summer.

Harteau should be charged with something too as her bullshit PC identity politics doubtless played the primary role in Noor's hiring.
And while we are at it we should tune up whoever hired on Harteau because I defy anyone to tell me that wasn't a diversity hire also.
