I may have some old stuff with price tags on it.No pics but I remember when a brick of 22s were $5.00.
Best I have is some wildcat with $8.50.I may have some old stuff with price tags on it.
As a kid, I was getting boxes of .22 shorts for a penny a round from my uncle's sporting goods store and they threw in a free box if I bought four for two bucks. 250 rounds for two bucks lasted a little while in a single shot .22. We had our own berm in the backyard and an indoor target trap in the basement.I remember when 50 round boxes of thunderbolts and wildcats were $1.50/box at tractor supply.
That's right $0.03 a round.
I remember walking 4 miles to the general store as a kid. I would pick up cans and bottles along the way and be able to get a coke or candy bar and a box of 22LR when I got there. The ammo was usually priced below 90 cents which equated to 18 cans or 9 bottles. As a kid, I was getting boxes of .22 shorts for a penny a round from my uncle's sporting goods store and they threw in a free box if I bought four for two bucks. 250 rounds for two bucks lasted a little while in a single shot .22.
