Remington 7400

Ok so so wondering what kind of enhancements/upgrades I can do to this. I was using this as a hunting rifle but way too heavy to continue. I enjoy shooting it but thinking it is going to be mor of a range gun since I have switched to my .308 Savage as the go to. I love my .270's but again this is far too heavy for dense wooded areas I hunt.

I have never bit my hand on my 7400. Have no idea what they are pitching

Remington 740-7400 is a semi auto rifle.

Ain;t no Garand, but it IS grand!!...........6mm, 270., 308, '06, 35 Whelen chamberings.

Throws a lot of lead in a short period of time..............good for "sound shots", by inexperienced deer hunters.

People love 'em, the resale price of them has gone through the roof since Remington's demise (there's all but zero chance of them ever being produced again, Parts have dried up and there are few to no new replacements out there...Most owners consider "cleaned" to be a brush, patch, and solvent down the barrel, but in reality they should have IRAN (inspect, repair, as necessary) every season...there's a ton of them out there; most are no longer reliable or accurate shooters.
