Exclusive: U.S. gunmaker Remington seeks financing to file for bankrup
In before Marlin gets sold to Henry.

That'd be great actually. Henry makes a quality product but I, and many others, absoloutely hate tube loading. Marlin could be their in to side gate loading. I'd absolutely buy a side loading Henry rifle, in whichever capacity it was marketed.Exclusive: U.S. gunmaker Remington seeks financing to file for bankrup

Can't wait for some fudds to come in and blame NY for this instead if them being a shit company over the last 10-20 years

The issues I have with tube loading is I don't like having to put my hand near the muzzle and the major thing is if the dongle thing comes loose you end up shooting the thing downrange. Which I have done, its very embarassing.Yes, the cowboys had a point -- you can hide behind a rock and (re)load the side gate, while a tube loader makes us expose ourselves like muzzleloaders did. For home defense the side-loader wins.
Support Remington and bring them out of bankruptcy. Lets all say FUAC and go out and buy a new Bushmaster.
And didn't Remington side with FUAC when offered the teeniest of bribes? Why support Remington, it's their hit or miss almost always shit quality, and horribly out dated business practice especially for a gun company as to why they are in the shit they are in.
So again why should I go out and spend my hard earned money on some bolt action rifle or pump act8on shotgun that is going be of meh quality or a 1911 that is going to be of shit quality (even for low grade 1911 standards)

I own...4? Remingtons. Really enjoy them. Would not buy anything else by them. Not out of hatred, but they just make junk now.
I have 4 Remington 700’s in different calibers. I have never had any problems with any of them. I would definitely buy another one if the need arises.
Well go ahead buy 10k more and save Remington
Yeah, that's my biggest concern. I was planning on buying one of the new Marlins. So I wonder what this is going to mean?Marlin just released some. 357s in the 2018 catalog too.
They are not going out of business. Colt did the same thing and they are still around.Yeah, that's my biggest concern. I was planning on buying one of the new Marlins. So I wonder what this is going to mean?
It seems kind of crazy that Remington is going to be going out of business, they have been around forever.
