Rep. Jim Jordan: Democrats' Real Aim Is a Gun Registry

While we are at it, the GAO has repeatedly notified Congress that the ATF and FBI are violating the 1986 Firearms Protection Act, which bans the creation of a registry of guns, gun owners or gun sales as well as the Obama era law barring the “consolidation or centralization” of gun dealers’ records. Jordan's caucus and Ryan said they were going to use Congressional oversight to fix that 2 years ago.
