Manhunt underway for suspect who shot 2 Minnesota lawmakers in alleged targeted attacks

A lawmaker and her husband were shot and killed in their home. Another lawmaker and his wife were attacked but are expected to survive.

While responding, they were asked to check on Hortman’s house. When they arrived, they saw an SUV equipped with lights, mimicking a squad vehicle, and were confronted by a man dressed as an officer. DPS reported the man fired at police, who returned fire, before retreating into the home.

Walz called the shootings a targeted attack. Minnesota DPS reported they found a manifesto while searching the suspect’s vehicle that had a list of other state lawmakers.

This world is so fucked. Someone posing as a conservative? A conservative? I wonder what they will find out and if we will know the truth. I wonder if those that cheered Trump getting shot will rage against this.

They are probably saying the same but I think their definition of violent must be different than ours. Burning cars and buildings are fine with them.

I don't agree with with shooting politicians you don't agree but I understand the anger people have with the direction our country is headed. If these anti U.S. politicians were actually held accountable for their actions then this wouldn't happen. The left is/has been attempting to destroy this country while violating our rights for far too long. Put them on trial and lock them up.

Question is... What is the target of this manufactured reality? Did they know the Clinton's? Lol

And why assume automatically that the perpetrator was the "opposite" political affiliation!? Could be the same. Could be a shake down gone wrong, etc. Could be those Mexican cartels leeching into our Justice system... So many possibilities but hey, they got it all figured out already. Amazing!

Amazing huh? Not so much... But fairly predictable! And the delay, any delay, lends to a manufactured reality by a particular group with an agenda. And that group, especially over the last 5+ years or so, has not been the Conservatives! Just sayin'

Hortman was Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2019-2025 and on Monday cast the lone DFL vote to end undocumented adult immigrants' eligibility for MinnesotaCare. Hoffman voted against the repeal. The bill passed by a narrow 68-65 vote during an emotional session. Sen. Bonnie Westlin, DFL-Plymouth, said the passage of the bill represented "a shameful day in this body."

"And I am angry because my majority leader had a gun put to her head," Westlin said. "And she's gonna take a vote on this, knowing her caucus does not support this because she wants to make sure this budget is passed."

While you are correct all it will do is cause the nutjobs on the left to start assasanating politicians on our side. The lefts fucked up idea of a great country means open borders and women with dicks while violating our constitutional rights.

The big difference in left vs right is that the left is actually violating the law by harboring illegals, forcing us to accept things that are against someone's religion, and attacking our right to Free speech.

The suspect, Vance Boelter, worked for previous Dem Governor Dayton and was also an appointee of current Dem Governor Walz. Looks like the subject was a Democrat. The press running off hinting this nutcase is a Right Wing assassin seems premature.

Apparently she and another and another Democrat, voted to remove healthcare in the state for illegals. A 37-30 vote. Not even close or the deciding vote. The other guy and his wife was wounded and the and the police found a hit list we will likely never see.

The manifesto cited "no kings" and no personal sacrifice is too great for the movement, especially from has-been Legislators...the "Right" will be blamed, and of course the call for more Gun Control will surly follow.
