Why would anyone think mob-connected King Andy was ever going to have a spotlight put on him for murdering seniors? He's not untouchable like the Clintons, but he's not a nobody either. He's family, and has some pull.
Yes he stepped down, but that was a tactical retreat and he'll likely be back.
As loathsome as that piece of shit is, he does have at least some political acumen (in NY terms) and a viciousness that has served him well politically for the most part, and I do not doubt he'll be back in some .gov position at some point.
Gov Ho is a political nobody. I spent some time researching her. She has no money, and no political power, connections, or capital at all. Beyond a brief stint in Congress (where she promptly lost her reelection and got kicked to the curb), she has achieved nothing climbing the machine ladder. Her family runs some womans shelter near Buffalo that franlky looks like a front for money laundering.
The only reason she was on the ticket with Son of Cuomo was to shore up his support in Buffalo. Period end of story.
She's a puppet doing what the smoke-filled back room types tell her. When they are done with her, they'll run her out of the gov's mansion faster than you can say WuFlu.
$10 will get you a hundred that the minute she actually think she's running NY and tries to strong arm someone with real power with her authority as "governor," her ass will be out the door and her plastic face off the news sites, forcibly retired to obscurity where she belongs.
