Yes, Israel apparently hit several Iranian bases. Unconfirmed reports of US bombing Syrian army which crossed the Euphrates and was kicking the shit out of the Kurdish rebels. Russian planes went up and began bombing US backed rebels and flew and some interference. Apache helicopters engaged Syrian troops during battle, All unconfirmed at this point , Im sure the US doesn't want to explain to the public why they are defending rebels and killing Syrians , so we may never know.

If it came to it, between Israeli and US power, Iran will become a pile of smoldering ashes. Russia and the US could go any number of ways however.

Well the thing is , Isreal doesn't have the man power to push through Syria Iraq and control Iran . Iran doesn't have the army to take over Israel,and maintain those long supply lines. So its going to be a big friggen missile fight , which the US may join in , But I don't see the US actually invading Iran with ground troops . Iran claims to have over 11,000 missiles aimed at Israel, SO Israel isn't going to walk away unscathed .Neither side can really win unless they have boots on the ground which is unlikely.

It's supposed to be complicated. That way, nobody knows what's going on, if they decide to attack.

There are several groups in Syria. One is the Syrian army. Allied with Russian advisors and unofficial Russian contractors.along with Iranian advisors, troops and mercanys and Hezbollah Iranian backed militias from Lebanon. Except for the Russians , they're mostly shire muslims. There are also fighters from Iraq and other places thrown in too.

Opposing them is isreal the US, France UK and Saudi Arabia. With rebel groups from Iraq Kurds and Saudi Arabia turkey is on our side but sympathetic to Assad. They are mostly neutral.

Most of the fighting on the US side is from proxy groups like the turds,

Russia and the US are trying hard to not get each others way .

Iran and isreal are both spoiling for a fight. Iranbegan building bases in Syria , and isreal keeps attacking those bases.

Isreal doesn't want enemy's parked on its borders, which is understandable. Iran reserves the right to put troops in any country that invites them. Also understandable.

The rebels are more than CIA backed militias, one from up north the turds, one from the south the Saudis .these are the primary fighters who are mostly Sunnis.

Right now the is keeping quiet about the attacks and so is iran

Israel has the 100 megaton Messiah in its corner and Iran knows that. They also have the 2nd best Air Force and ground troops in the world. Their population is used to hardship...Iran's has a huge minority against its Government and will not deal with hardship from attack very well. Plus the US will enter if a full blown conflict. Russia does not want that.

US forces has been taking out Russian mercenaries for a few months now and all Russia has done was lip service.

As far as Iran goes, I think we'd likely do what we did to Iraq in the first gulf war and defang Iran by destroying their military (their conventional military anyway). Who knows how committed Russia would be at that point, but if Iran and Israel start at it directly (which they sort of already have in Syria) then it will involve the US and Russia in possible direct conflict. Not talking about one side killing the other sides mercinaries, but direct conflict between regular US and Russian forces. Even without committing ground forces things could quickly get out of control.
That said, I'm no military or geopolitical expert so I'm mostly talking out of my ass.
