A group of prominent Republicans and business leaders backing a tax on carbon dioxide were taking their case Wednesday to top White House aides, including chief economic adviser Gary Cohn.

The group, including former Treasury Secretaries Hank Paulson and James Baker, is pressing President Donald Trump to tax carbon dioxide in exchange for abolishing a slew of environmental regulations. They unveiled their plan with a press conference in Washington and an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal.

the Human body is 60 (some sources say 70)% water, then oxygen has to be the most abundant element by weight (water - H2O - has a molecular weight of ~18 g/mol, with hydrogen contributing only 2g/mol of that weight).

The usual figures are roughly Oxygen (65%), Carbon (18%), Hydrogen (10%), Nitrogen: (3%), Calcium (1.5%), etc.

However, the writers of Breaking Bad weren't stupid. So, they weren't discussing percentages of the mass of each element, but rather the frequency of that atom in the body. The number of hydrogen atoms does indeed exceed the number of oxygen atoms.

So, by atomic percent, Oxygen is 25.6%, Carbon: 9.5%, Hydrogen: 63%, Nitrogen: 1.3%, Calcium: 0.24%, etc.

Air is, factually, ~78.0% Nitrogen, ~20.9% O2 and pretty much TRACE amounts of other elements.

At least that understanding has kept me alive at extreme depths these last few years.

I have no issue with them providing contrary points-of-view or opinions, but if they start dictating policies that are contrary to those that got trump elected, then drain away! Of course, I'd keep the girl around for the visuals.
