Cool. Glad that state senator likes the trash product he helped put out. Totally believe he doesn't want to force everyone to use it. /s Doubt anyone serious would use this garbage unless forced to. Maybe some poor beginner tricked by marketing into the false sense of security the thing provides. As far as law enforcement, I'd feel bad for any LEO forced to have this junk whose batteries failed before having to draw.

I did a google map search for the address of that company. It's a little weird. Ends up being the Baldwin City Public Works building. Don't believe me? Check out their address on the website ( About - SmartGunz LLC ) then use street view to see the building. It clearly says '609' on it when you zoom in. Here's a screenshot. You probably can't see it in my pic below, but the building number is just to the right of the white door.

I suppose it might have *some* value. "I was going to steal the gun, but when I realized I'd have to take the stupid glove it was wrapped in too I changed my mind. Who wants a stupid gun like that ?"

Could probably do the same thing by mandating pink dildo shaped suppressors on everything....

Whoa.. Here's a zoomed pic. The surrounding buildings (many of which are also city/government property) have their own numbers. I thought maybe I'd find that suite-C in the address could be a separate building.. but no. This one is the only 609.

I'm not saying that's proof of anything, but it's suspicious. Very interesting find @jimc
Of course it does say this was launched/founded by a current state senator, but running this business on the taxpayers dime..
