Riddle me This?? CCW Reprocity Act

It is my understanding (maybe I need to Read it again) that if a CCW from another state comes into your state Im in NY and go to PA that I have to abide and follow PA's gun laws.....

But I see this article:

Whre NYC is talking that things would be insane..everyone in NY would have guns..OH MY and this and that.

Again.. This would not make sense so a PA CCW carrier can carry in NYC but a NY'r cant. Its my understanding they have it all wrong and are just hyping up the misunderstanding of this potential law with this sorta biased crap...but even the ones that know better are feeding into it all...???? All so it wont get passed and all the scared libs will call their congressmen and say say NO to Reprocity CCW act???

Again is it me or they are not properly stating facts with this bill and spreading false info........

Not much point in worrying about really, as the likelihood of it ever passing out of the Senate under McTurtle is damn near non existent. And even if the Senate Bill passed, it would need to be reconciled with the House Bill. So, really, anything that MIGHT pass could end up looking nothing like what we know about to date.

As I understand the House Bill, yes, the weird thing seems to be that anyone with an upstate NY CCW permit cannot carry in NYC, BUT, - if you got a permit from another state (say PA), that you could then carry in NYC using the PA permit. Certainly seems like it would turn their bullshit regulations upside down! And I'm all for doing that. But I am largely resigned to the fact that it will not happen.

Of course, I could call and write to my NY Senators, Chuckie Schmuck, and Sillybrand, but why bother? And don't forget: ANYTHING that passed will be ignored by the anti's, and arrests of innocent and lawful CCW'ers will continue to be made in states like CA, and in places like NYC until SCOTUS would eventually be forced to rule on it, - most likely years from now...

yeah too bad as it makes sense to me. having to go get other non resident permits and all that bull. I mean...my license is good anywhere...but thats too logical I guess

here is the real deal ... FK reciprocity .. if you have a drivers license and as same as PP .. what about states like NY and Cali with there other gun laws ..
you can't 10 round or or more here or there .. in Cali you can only have this pistol ( they have a list ) .. leave your ammo at the border .. can't bring in ammo from outside of Cali . can't bring a bring a heavy pistol to NY .. what is it over 50 ounces .. and a shit ton of other BS laws...

it will be the same as now .. what states can i carry to with pistol with my permit .. what gun can i take , mag size , weight .. more confusing BS

Fact is when municipalities, like NYC, San Diego, Chicago, etc., are allowed to institute their defacto denial of your Rights program(s) by requiring a demonstrable "NEED" etc., and is enforced by the (lower) courts... A law, any law for that matter which would undo their little sheeple massaging programs would just be ignored. And they have promulgated those laws too by pleading down any true case which would provide standing to challenge said laws. Evident by tourists, who've been arrested in NYC carrrying/possessing handguns! Check their case law and see for yourself. And really, what enforcement action would the Feds institute to ensure their laws were followed, or the SCOTUS for that matter?

Reciprocity? Yeah, ok... When pigs fly!
