I will take all of the heat on this, However, I don't care who this offends, I stand by it.
Revolution or war is coming, sooner or later! The Government today no longer follows the Constitution or represents “We the People”!! Many of you are a bunch of greedy cowards! You raised the cost of living so high that both parents are always at work, rather than spending time with their children (single parents stand no chance) . You took God out of schools. Parents were told 'No you can't discipline your kids'. Well, now most of those kids are rude and out of control. You shall reap what you sow! We have taken a whole generation and turned them into selfish, entitled brats who have no respect for people, property or authority! You deem people with terminal illnesses and some with only a few months to live…fit for work!!! You allow our veterans of war to go homeless and hungry but give out millions to illegal aliens, and foreign aid!!! You save drug addicts over and over again but refuse to help our elderly who can't afford to pay for their medication to stay alive. You bend over backwards to be politically correct, too scared to say enough is enough, in case you offend someone. You put the retirement age up so people must work until they drop. You take care of prisoners and give them everything under the sun (food, medical, education, representation, money, rehabilitation and yes even sex change surgery) yet you cause the elderly, those that have paid their debt to society and their families, to go broke caring for them either at home or in a nursing home... THINGS NEED TO CHANGE‼

We are, I believe, in one of the toughest times in our country's history, as we continue to battle a deadly pandemic and the resulting economic havoc while, once again, coming face-to-face with the long-term effects of racial injustice. Watching tens of thousands take to the streets to speak out against fear and inhumanity is, on one hand, inspiring for the commitment it represents and, on the other, heartbreaking for its profound need.

But what's next? What do we do to change the cycle in which black men or women, with tragic frequency, are harmed by those who are supposed to protect them? Or the gut-wrenching truth that to be a person of color in America is often to not feel fully safe, seen or heard?

For me, it starts with seeing the situation for what it is, acknowledging these experiences for what they are and, quite simply, apologizing for not doing enough. As important, it includes committing the company I lead down a path of systemic, permanent change in as many ways as we can find.

I don't have the answers, but I am no longer OK with not asking the question: If everything were on the table, what could Best Buy do? With that in mind, I am appointing a diverse group (by demography and level in the company) to challenge one another and, ultimately, our senior leadership team and Board of Directors, with substantive, enduring ways we can address the inequities and injustices to which all of us bear witness every day.

In many ways, we have engaged in these issues for years. We have long been focused on the opportunity gap and its companion, the digital divide. More than a decade ago we began building a national network of what we call Teen Tech Centers, places where teens from disinvested communities are exposed to and trained on a range of technology that, we now know, can make a critical difference in helping them find success in post-secondary education or the job market.

We are looking to create more than 100 of these centers, open year-round and typically hosting hundreds of young people who begin in middle school and leave when they graduate high school. We do not do this alone, of course, as our employees, vendor partners and dozens of nonprofits are actively engaged in bringing this mission to life.

Additionally, we have brought our resources to bear on the issue of remote learning. In our home state of Minnesota, we helped found a public-private effort to provide computers and internet access to hundreds of thousands of youth from disinvested communities who have neither. Without this technology, learning from home, should it be necessary this fall and winter, would be impossible, widening both the digital divide and opportunity gap.

This effort is reflective of our broader view that we must continue to be an important player in the communities we are a part of, especially those hardest hit. This includes continuing to serve the neighborhoods in which our stores were damaged.

As for those who rely on us the most — our employees — we continue to focus on their safety. Just as we did in response to the pandemic, we closed some stores around the country when we felt the risk was too high. Some remain closed, and any affected employee will be paid for their time. As always, no one is compelled to come back to work if they feel uncomfortable.

Neighborhoods across America have felt the heat of flames lit by those who would do only harm, and still others have felt the fear that comes from not knowing where that harm may go next. But those fires will be extinguished, and the damage will be repaired. What remains, however, are the indelible images of George Floyd and the many who came before him. It is in their name that we embrace the fight for equality and justice as a common cause, one we all fight — and solve — together.

Last week, America reached the grim milestone of 100,000 lives stolen by the coronavirus. George Floyd's breath was stolen by another virus: racist police violence.


In broad daylight, for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, the Minneapolis Police Department callously and cruelly asphyxiated Mr. Floyd using a chokehold which led to a lack of blood flow to Mr. Floyd's brain and caused his death.


Lamentably, Mr. Floyd's state-sponsored murder was not an isolated incident. It was but the latest chapter in a centuries-long history of white supremacist violence that has taken the lives of far too many Black people.


This moment demands that each of us—especially those of us who are not Black—act with great urgency in defense of Black lives, to support the work of ending police brutality and white supremacy, and to bring forth a world order in which Black people are truly free and liberated. There are many ways of participating in this work—and here's something you can do now that will have immediate impact:

, the degradation of Black life, including the murder of George Floyd—and Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and too many others before him—is nothing new in American history.


Beginning in the 17th century, European colonizers, seeking to amass untold riches, abducted people from the western shores of Africa and forcibly transported them to what is now the United States. Once here, those same European colonizers, through unspeakable crimes that offend morality itself, seized this land from the indigenous people.


It was here, in these stolen lands, where this country's founders legally declared that Black people were not fully human and, instead, declared Black life to be white property. The stolen labor of African slaves built this country.


After over two centuries of Black bondage, a civil war ended the barbarous system of chattel slavery. But in many deep senses, Black people in America remained deprived of liberty. For decades following the formal end of slavery, Black Americans were forced to live under a legal regime of segregation and under the terror of lynch mobs looking to hunt them down. Even children were not spared.


In this era, the police were of little help. Indeed, too often, the police themselves were the purveyors of violence.


In the decades since, thanks to Black leaders and a multiracial movement that supported them in the struggle, some laws have changed for the better.


But in other ways, our nation has regressed to its old racist habits. In recent decades, Black people have been the targets of an ill-conceived "war on drugs" that has torn asunder Black families and has needlessly put hundreds of thousands of Black people behind bars. Our health care system, too, continues to fail Black families, as Black people have been dying in disproportionately large numbers due to the coronavirus.1


The list of such racial injustices is nearly endless. That's why we must pledge ourselves to radically transforming our laws and our nation in the direction of racial justice.


The noted Black philosopher Cornel West once said that "justice is what love looks like in public." I just read his quote verbatim and its 100% non offensive. It's his opinion. It's not contraversial or outlandish. He even states his reasoning why the anthem and flag is important to him based on his family history.

Anyone feigning outrage over what he said is the problem.


Having an honest and open discussion is impossible when the other side says we aren't allowed to share our opinion if it doesn't align with their own.

Is this kindergarten for adults? Wtf
