I have watched countless conventions over the years, both democrat and Republican, not because I enjoy them, I don't, but always felt it was part of my responsibility as a citizen. So I went into this one somewhat jaded and assumed it would be pretty much a cookie cutter event made from the same recipe. I was shocked at how different it was, pleasantly shocked!
