WTB Road Bike

I'm thinking about running a triathlon this summer, and need a quality road bike; - however I don't have a lot of available cash.

Anyone want to clean out there garage and sell their 3-4 year old road bike (54cm frame preferred) ?

I have an older (early 2000's) Cannondale R2000 full Ultegra bike in mint condition that I might be willing to part with for a reasonable price to the right person. (It was 2300 bucks new). It is a 56cm frame. I replaced the tires with a slightly wider tread for local conditions and a ti-railed seat with a bit of padding for weight and comfort. Otherwise, bone stock. I'm in the Rochester area. My preferences have changed from biking to beer.

I ran a sprint tri last summer on my old Schwinn road bike. When I saw the pictures after, I realized it was way too small for me. I looked like a monkey screwing a football.
