The thing is anybody could have just made this up and claimed to have gotten it from a protester.
It "seems" pretty authentic. Not saying whether it is or not, but that would be a lot of effort to send out false Intel like this and for what purpose?

The one time my wife thought someone was breaking into the house, she locked the 140lb Rottweiler in her crate because "I don't want her to get into the line of fire".
That was back when she lived in downtown Rochester in a not so great neighborhood, and before I met her.
The dogs are just the alarm, it's the humans that defend the house.
Now we have twice as many Rottweilers, a boatload more guns and some decent professional training, and we live in a town where crime is low enough that the police take a call for a cell phone stolen from a car seriously.
