Rockland County - Has anyone added a handgun to your permit since new CCIA went into effect?

I'm just wondering what the wait time might be and if anyone has been able to add and pick up a newly acquired handgun yet. This is the first time I have sent in an amendment form to add an acquired handgun, so I want to keep my expectations low.

I find myself feeling the urge to rush the postal carrier when I see them on my street though.

19 days so far. Pistol clerk just told me the judge on my permit has been out most of September.



The people in clerks office are so good down here though. Rich is going to try and see what he can do about getting the license amended for me.

Did I say the Rockland County clerks are good?? I need to change that to outstanding!

I just spoke with Rich. He got another judge to sign off on my amendment and I can go pick up my coupon and updated license. I wish every county had clerks as good as ours!

Mine are great in Erie county as well. They do the best they can.
