I'm picking up my Ruger PR 338 Lapua soon and from everything I've read about the rifle, the factory stock seems to be iffy.
The main complaint being no area to grip to pull the rifle into your shoulder. I am thinking about getting a Magpul PRS3 stock but I've read that the standard LOP on the PRS3 is rather long. I'm only 5' 8" and I'm worried that it would be too long for my arms. Also, do you need a different tube to accommodate the PRS3?
I also picked up a Vortex Viper HST second focal plane scope for it. I have a Magpul bipod but I'm not sure if it will take the punishment from the 338 Lapua.
Any advice would be appreciated.
