Rso needed at private gun range

Goddamn fools who somehow passed a NICS check and got an AR do not understand that shooting while a person is down range changing targets is unsafe.

Some of these same people will have a beer or two while taking a break from shooting.

All of this infringes on their 2nd amendment rights they say.

Expecting members to confront asswipes is not their duty.......Cameras are great for helping to police the deranged who soon become deranged.

I shoot in Pa and very strict rules also apply there.

IDPA, SASS, all have range officers at your shoulder, with timer and can stop you at any time.

Army has it right................THEY KNOW ASSWIPES.

I can dig that. I do much of my shooting at my club in the mid-morning on weekdays. It's nice to have the range all to myself. Winter is great, nobody out there in February at 10 am on a Tuesday. I'm trying to buy the land next to me (which is a big gravel pit) for my own personal range. I'll still remain a member of my club, just to support them if nothing else.

Same here. I'm retired so I can go to the club any time of day and I'm most always the only one at the pistol range. It's good because there are no witnesses to see me miss that little circle in the center of the target Good luck with the gravel pit purchase!!

NRA counts RSOs as instructors. You renew the RSO credentials through he instructor site, even though as an RSO, you're not qualified to teach a course..

RSO is a different course than the instructor courses.

On Ranges where there's more than whoever (if anybody) is with me, I will carry a Rifle with me downrange...people will run off with your shit, and there is the possibility of someone trying to kill you for a multitude of reasons, then they could claim it as an "accident".

Have a sling on all rifles.
