Serial number falls in the 2002 production year..

I believe the barrel is held in with a "V-block"

I don't recall any of the 77 rimfire rifles I owned having a threaded in barrel

was a friends rifle, he got in a bit of legal trouble sometime back and had to sell his firearms.. i ended up with this one a couple years ago..
There are only about 250 rounds (give or take a box) down this barrel (I put it on a when i got it).. I dont know how many are on the receiver..
