x2 on Frank's!Frank's Shooting Supply ?
Whenever I'm in that area, I've bought stuff from that place. Little out of the way for me, but I like stopping by once a year.
x2 on Frank's!Frank's Shooting Supply ?
I don't know but I do like my EC9S it's a little bigger but it is a 9mm .I'm looking now at the lcp, lcp max, and ec9.
What would be the best for the front pocket of say gym shorts while im mowing the lawn or running to the gas station? In the summer I just don't strap my g19 clone on at all. Too hot
I'm open to other suggestions
The LCPII is a nice fun. I own one and it’s a bit snappy but shoots accurate as my 365. Only thing I do t like about it is the thin grip and how small the mags are. It’s hard to swap mags on the fly and would be harder in a stressed situation. Again a nice gun but just know what it is and I’m sure you do.I wanna go try to find them and handle them again. I'm leaning lc9 or lcp max.
You’re better off with a 9mm over 380 anyway. Plus I think those guns are a bit bigger too. Don’t get me wrong I love my LCPII but I only use it when another gun doesn’t work so well and I feel like that gun is better than no gun.I'm actually leaning towards the lc9 or ec9. Mostly because I already have a lot of 9mm. Cabela's still has LC9 in stock.
both use the same mags too .I'm actually leaning towards the lc9 or ec9. Mostly because I already have a lot of 9mm. Cabela's still has LC9 in stock.
If you’re going 9mm, it’s a G43 for me, but I’m a Glock guy.I'm actually leaning towards the lc9 or ec9. Mostly because I already have a lot of 9mm. Cabela's still has LC9 in stock.

Do you have a range with rental guns?
According to handgun hero…Not locally no. Isn't the g43 a bit bigger than pocket carry? I held a g42 and liked it, but felt it was a bit large for a pocket gun.
I think they're pretty much the same exact size except for maybe a quarter inch at the muzzle. The Smith looks bigger because of an optical illusion. On the Smith the tang has material taken out of the tang to make the beaver tail and that is moved to the front of the grip. Hence the Ruger looks chunkier on the back and flat on the front. That tiny change makes the Smith pistol look taller when in reality they are the same height. That tiny change also makes it more ergonomic IMO. Letting you get your hand higher up on the pistol also isn't a bad thing either.I saw that. I only have a few concerns.
Street price on the bodyguard is over $100 more.
It looks just enough bigger than it may not be as pocket friendly
Several members have had issues with smiths lately
If you get one though please share your experiences
you will go thru that 100 in blink,,, enjoy may want to look at hoagie grip and Pearce pinky ext for the ten rounders more grip purchase with bothI just ordered a max, 100 rounds fmj, and two ten round mags. It's nice to buy ammo online again. Anyway I did the 10s because they seem to be reviewing more reliable.
I almost got an original body guards or an air weight, but I liked the ability to carry 10+1 and another 10.
At over $100 difference in price, if I was buying one right now, it’d be the Max.I have a Max and am happy with it. But for the $$ it seems you can't go wrong either way.
The thing about a $100 price difference between 2 guns is that's like one trip to the range worth of ammo.At over $100 difference in price, if I was buying one right now, it’d be the Max.
practice practice practice , you may want to try pearce pinky extension for the 10 round mag (14$) on ebay , and a hogue grip sleeve (now model specific ) made world of diff in grip placement with fingers and added little girth to grip and the dovetail in hogue grip helped with recoil .Just ran 130 rounds through the lcp max Sunday.
The bad, 3 finger grip turns into 2 fingers really fast under recoil. Will try the 12 round magazines to see if it fixes that.
The good: only 2 malfunctions, both possibly due to user error. Both were failures to go in battery. One was on a fresh mag and I may have not racked it smartly. The second I was trying to modify my grip and may have limp wristed a bit. Otherwise 100% reliable. I did shoot low at 7-10 yards. I think it's partly me. I shoot every pistol low. Good news I am no longer shooting to the left. Just low. I need to practice more.
Lastly I am still good enough to protect myself at normal self defense ranges. This is only the 3rd time I've shot a semi auto pistol in my entire life that wasn't just a few rounds out of a friend's gun.
