Recently, a friend of mine picked one of these up as his EDC. Caught my interest. Just wondering if anyone here has experience with it, good or bad.
Ruger LCP Max .380, - looking at one. Anybody here own one? Comments? Like it or not?

I own one a full transparency I really like it but I added the mcarbo goodies to it including trigger as well as hogue grip and wiht the standard 10 round mag and pinky extension I can shoot it effortlessly with accuracy att he range plus in a pocket locker by vedder it great to carry in summer in your front pocket... I do hear that the s&w bodyguard 2.0 is similar in all aspects and if was starting from scratch looking for 380 lightweight smaller summertime carry pistol I would really look hard at both , but wiht all the money and accessories including the mags and holsters I am quite content ...

I had one, it was ok, it went bang every time I pulled the trigger. For the price they are a good deal.
I’d take a Glock 42 over one though.
The BG 2.0 is nice, I’ve shot one, but they are having too many issues for me to buy one right now. Maybe once S&W fixes the issues.

I have one; sent it to Ruger for warranty work as the slide was rusting bad after not a lot of carry (usually next to bare skin in summer shorts carry) - they replaced the slide and barrel but I'm still getting residual rust through the mag release and onto the mag...
This was before picture, I don't have after warranty pics but slide itself is doing much better (I heard the early ones had bad coatings) -
I too went with some M-Carbo upgrades.. handy little .380.

I like mine just fine ,but I have the stainless slide. I also upgraded to an Alabama holster. Much preferred. It's the gun I've carried the most.
The 75th anniversary edition has the stainless slide and retails for $269 on a few websites.
