Ruger Long Gun BFFs

As you may know, I recently acquired a Ruger PC9 Carbine. I love it so much, when I saw 10/22 carbines on sale, I decided to make it a friend.

Here are my Ruger BFFs.

Ruger PC9 Carbine 9mm Luger.

Ruger 10/22 Tactical/Target 22LR
* Magpul X22 Stock
* Green Mountain 18 inch fluted blued heavy barrel
* Nikon 1.5-4x20 P-Tactical Scope.

The 10/22 is 4 oz heavier, but the feel and balance is still similar.

What sight is on the PCC and how is it mounted?

What sight is on the PCC and how is it mounted?

Just a basic Bushnell TRS-25. You can get a small rail that attaches using the rear sight screws. I think TACCOM makes them.

I’d love a take-down. But, I think it’s gonna be a while before I buy another 22.

I have a stainless model 10/22. Non takedown model. When I went to look at it, the salesman was having issues a risky taking it down, and I felt that it was going to be a pain in the ass so I took the regular one.
After getting my PCC, I know that the salesman just didn’t know what he was doing. PCC is my favorite rifle.

I put a Vortex Spitfire 3x Prism Scope on it and it’s great.

No not as of yet! And it dosen't look like we will be hosting a AS this year?

I’d love to attend Appleseed. This is exactly the sort of shooting I built this 10/22 for. I even have the sling all set up.

Though we may not be hosting a sanctioned Appleseed? We may still do a unofficial Shoot as we have a bunch of Appleseed instructors and IIT's in the Club and the dates are still on the Club calendar for next month. Will post more as I know more?
