Ruger M77 Mark II LH, What do you think I can reasonably expect to get.......

.....For a late 90's lightly used, very good condition (the receiver bluing has turned plumb in color though) Ruger M77 Mark II left handed in .30-06 with Simmons 2.5x10 50mm scope? I'm also talking about selling it to an FFL. I know I could probably ask more/get more for it in a private sale, but I'm curious to get an idea about selling to a store. Thanks!

I would say you should be able to get $600 to $700 for a mint condition rifle but not sure what the plumb color means.

This isn't my rifle, but this is the plumb color I'm referring to. It was a defect in Ruger's bluing process. It became more apparent over time. I'll take some pics of my actual rifle tonight.

Thanks. I see. It is just the regular blueing that sometimes doesn't stop but not necessarily bad.
Some people do not like it, some others do.

BTW ... According to the stamp the barrel seems to be chambered in 7x57 mauser and not a 30-06 ??

I dont like the hassle of selling guns,especially now with the SAFE act and driving to do background check.Take it to a FFL and get screwed on price but worth not going through the hoops of advertising then selling legally to a private owner.

That is a nice looking rifle. The plumb looks a bit off but kind of vintage and very well preserve. I like it.
The FFL is going to give you little so not wroth selling IMO but ask.
I would put it here on the sales section.
