Ruger MKIII 22/45 Coated Ammo ?

I just did a lot of work on my 22/45 and am fully prepared to use it for steel challenge this year, except that I'd like to test it with coated bullets as a comparison to bare lead.
I would like to know if anyone's has had any issues using the CCI Clean Red/Green HV Ammo in their rim fire pistols ?
I tried a box of CCI Patriot ammo last year and it ran well, but it's not around for purchase.

So far my mark 4 22/45 has been reliable with everything I've put through it. Never tried the CCI ammo you mentioned.

If you don't mind me asking what sight/optic are you using on yours?

I'm shooting RFPI, so I got the Williams fiber optic sight set.
I also have the scope base and a burris fast fire 3, if it doesn't work out.

I ordered some of the CCI Clean ammo and will see what happens.
