That is a no grip version of their existing bull pup with a grip. So in the bull pup world it’s the same thing as in the regular rifle world. Pistol grip or no pistol grip. Again. One or the other with a slight variation in shape.

A slight variation in shape that can make the difference between a handsome gun and an ugly mismatched gun that is trying to become something it isn't.
As for the Kel Tec, it doesn't really look like any other non-pistol grip stock that I have seen. But I guess because it's a bull pup it's the exception and doesn't count as an innovation. You win.
It's either non pistol grip or pistol grip. The pistol grips have to all be grips made for AR 15's and the chassis should only accommodate AR 15 furniture. Let's put tits on a bull. It doesn't matter how fuggly the gun looks, lets just make it so that it looks more like an AR 15.
I'm hoping that Traditions will come out with a chassis for my Flintlock so I can put on an AR pistol grip and a Magpul stock

None of this really matters anyway and to be honest, I don't understand your unwillingness to simply allow someone to express their opinion about something. This is a matter of taste and therefor a subjective topic. There is no right or wrong answer to fight tooth and nail for, so what are you trying to prove? That you disagree with me??? Congrats, you achieved that. We disagree on this. I think I've explained my point of view sufficiently. Can we move forward now or do you want to keep arguing like a dog chasing it's own tail?

That’s the point I’m trying to make. Taste. Pistol grip or no pistol grip. It’s the buyer’s choice but while they are at it, why make just one proprietary grip that cannot be replaced? By making it AR standard, you can add any grip you want or stock that you want making it truly fitting for your purposes.

Not trying to shut you down or anything. Just stating the obvious on why being AR standard is a good thing.

I understand that, but by making it AR standard, aren't you really just trying to make it an AR? The AR9 already exists, why try to make the PCC9 like an AR9? It's like you are trying to make a Chicago style deep dish pizza with a thin crust. Just get an AR9. If something like the recoil impulse on the AR9 is too harsh you need to make some decisions based on the pros and cons of each platform. A PCC9 dressed up like an AR9 isn't going to look, function or even have the same ergonomics as an AR9. The safety, bolt release, mag release, charging handle won't be the same. The gun won't break down for maintenance or storage the same. Sure, it'll have the pistol grip and Magpul stock, but the actual gun wasn't designed to be an AR9. It was designed to be a PCC9.

A Ruger costs half of what an AR9 costs. So for someone that already bought one but would rather have more ergonomic comfort like having an adjustable stock because the traditional stock is too long, this would make sense and is more cost effective than buying a second carbine. My wife fits into that category because she is of a smaller statue than I am. That’s one reason.

Another reason is just because. When I move out of this state, this stock would make sense for someone like me because I prefer having a pistol grip because it’s what I like and feel natural holding. I also prefer to choke up on it and make the package smaller. I guess I could spend the money on an AR9 but why should I when I don’t have to?

Choices. That’s the beauty of it. If I didn’t like it like you don’t, I wouldn’t buy it but if I did, it would make sense to buy one.

Why did you buy a hammer fired Beretta? Why not get a Glock? Why did you buy a big old Aimpoint pro when a Micro works just as well? Why did you buy a .338 Lapua Bolt gun to shoot at 200 yards max at your range when your .308 serves the same purpose at that range? See what I mean?

Why the hostility towards this stock? Nobody has any hostility towards someone who buys an A2 stock over an adjustable one or someone who buys an Keymod over an Mlok to just mount a flashlight. Neither is better than the other.

The Ruger with the new chassis MSRP's at more than what you sold your AR9 for. Buying the Ruger and then adding the options you want will put you in the same price range as building your own AR9.

Well yes. If you are already heavily invested in a given rifle and wanted to continue with it even though it's not what you really want, great, knock yourself out. Have fun putting lipstick on a pig. However, if I were in your shoes and what I really want is an AR, I would be looking to sell or trade what I have in order to fund an AR instead of trying to make a square peg fit in a round hole. That is just me though. Again, I'm not hostile to having the options, I just don't necessarily understand the drive to turn every gun into an AR when you can easily and affordably build or buy one. Don't get me wrong, I loooooove AR's. I also love more traditional patterned rifles. I will tell you, when I am eyeing a traditional patterned rifle, the last thing on my mind is how it would be so much better as an AR and it certainly isn't the driving force behind why I am purchasing it.

Be honest. If you had your choice of the two, no laws or restrictions to worry about and the recoil impulse wasn't a damning factor, would you rather have the PCC9 in the new chassis with the pistol grip and adjustable stock or would you rather have an AR9?

It’s absolutely crazy that you are against choices that you do not need to buy just like that one hand guard or red dot that you looked at one time or another and took a pass to purchase another one.

This stock’s existence takes nothing away from your existing carbine.

As to my situation since you want honesty, I would probably convert the PCC and call it a day. With a 33 rd magazine, the magazine ejection location is a non issue. It would still serve as a home defense gun adequately. I’m not into guns for enjoyment really anymore since the Unsafe Act. Perhaps I might build an additional AR pistol or SBR but probably won’t unless some new and great caliber comes out that is multipurpose and adopted by the military.

Since the Safe Act, I have gotten rid of 2 AR’s, a Mini 14, an SKS, a Keltec KSG, a XDS, and a 1911. I just don’t care anymore and only have what is absolutely necessary that serves a role.

Well, I'm sorry to disappoint this time but hey, no one is perfect and it's not like this hasn't been a good discussion on the topic. We aren't always going to agree on shit and that is okay.

Again, I'm not against choices and I think maybe you misjudged the severity of my reaction and took it too much to heart. No, I don't really think every rifle is magically made better by having the option to make it like an AR, either functionally, ergonomically or aesthetically. Especially aesthetically, lol. That said, I am not trying to say the option shouldn't exist, because like you said people should have the ability to choose what's best for them. I simply find it annoying and predictable...oh of course they came out with an AR pattern chassis for this gun...yawn. Show me something new.

I am honestly surprised by this because I remember you saying how you are trained for the AR platform and that guns for you must have utility (which is the AR in it's essence). I certainly understand becoming accustomed to another platform since you had made the decision to stop playing the compliance game. A decision I give you a lot of respect for having made, that couldn't have been easy. Yet here you are, the option to return to your roots and you opt to take a rifle you used to escape the compliance game and try to turn it into the rifle you had before you gave up on bending over backwards. Instead of just going back to what you originally had and wanted.
