That's a shame. Background checks are down from the obama highs but still higher than before he was in office. Interesting spike in december of each year. I guess Santa likes to provide a lot of guns for christmas!

Have Remington , Glock, Mossberg and the other manufacturers seen a similar decrease in sales or was it just Ruger?

I'm a very cynical person and tend to immediately think someone is saying something biased or to fit an agenda.

this is a normal manufacturing process. Manufacturing is high when there is a great demand. Like when NObama or Pelosi opens their mouth and says they are not coming for our guns. Manufacturers tend to add production personnel and shifts to keep up with demand. many times these production cycles go beyond the demand and you end up with a surplus of product. Or the demand drops off faster than predicted.

all of a sudden the manufacturer has a boatload of product and no one to sell it to. As long as the manufacturer has enough capital/cash on hand to survive a slowdown, it should not be of concern

not a big fan of Ruger but they are competitive so i would assume that there was a drop across the board for all gun companies

Don't blame me, I buy a Ruger every year it seems. Next up on my list is the Ruger PC Carbine. Any day now..

I kind of want to add a 10mm handgun to my collection, but $$$
