If you notify a staff member about this kind of thing, we'll usually make it a sticky (at least for a while) so that it doesn't get lost and people to whom it may apply are more likely to see it. Since I happened to see it while it was new, I've done so here. Let us know to do stuff like that though.
We think safety warnings and recalls and such are important to the community.
