Well this experiment has about run its course and I can confirm my hypothesis that people are indeed freaking nuts lol. About 6 hrs to go Remington at $3.17/rd shipped and Federal at $3.00/rd shipped. May need to run experiment again to confirm it was not an anomaly...

Back in 2013 when things went nuts, I sold some junk I had lying around including some extra 10/22 magazines and a parted out .22 that I couldn't get to run. I got almost $70 for one of the magazines. The rifle parts went for crazy money too.

So auctions ended Remington sold for $185 + $20 shipping ($3.42/rd) and the Federal sold for $175 + $20 shipping ($3.25/rd). I put 6 more boxes up this time with a buy it now of $220 ($4/rd shipped) guess we'll see how this goes lol...

Yup. It was around the same time. I bought a factory DPMS 4 round 308 mag for around $20 at the LGS. Put it on GB and sold it for $75.

Looks likes prices may have stabilized. Not much time left on this one and at a lower price than I would like as its my auction.
Huh looks like completed items are all selling for around $75 to $100. Did you purchase any of their "enhancements" maybe not getting enough views. Have an auction ending today for 700 rounds of vintage Western it's currently at $180 plus $20 shipped (I started this at $175 min bid). Could be some value in the vintage boxes but at end of day still 22LR. Good luck. Thanks for that. I have a few more items that I'll be listing. I only did a few initially as I have no feedback on GB and wanted to build a few up before I went heavier on the listings. I figured some of the slow bidding was likely in part to that.
