Running for office: Part one - Intro

We generally I think know what you're against.

What are you FOR, and how do you intend to accomplish that via the office you seek?

I am for everything that I am not against.

A couple issues that matter, not in any particular order - I would like to see the elimination of the progressive income tax, a way to require balanced budgets(without constitutional amendment), a simplified healthcare system, the creation of a school voucher program, phase out welfare, enact term limits, promote equality over diversity, and encourage individual freedom and personal responsibility.

For the accomplishment piece, I was going to post a weekly thread discussing individual topics in greater detail. Next weeks topic was going to be 'Difficult Conversations'. The biggest thing I could probably do alone in Albany is start the difficult conversations - Call bullshit when I see it, offer alternate solutions, and refuse to vote simply along party lines.

I may not be a prime candidate, but I believe I made this decision for the right reasons.
