Runnings opening in Brockport

So it looks like another Box store is opening in Monroe County (Brockport). Runnings sells firearms and ammo! Anyone have any experiences with this store? looks like their grand opening is soon.

I went to the new store yesterday, and they have everything. Hardware, tools, housewares, and a full sporting goods section. Prices were about average for Retail, most things you can get cheaper online. Friendly staff at the firearms counter, they were eager to help anyone that wanted to hold and checkout one of the guns. They had several featureless ARs. Handgun permit in 2-6 months, so for now those cases are closed and locked.

We got a free 10$ coupon in the mail for opening weekend, so we'll be going back in a few weeks. Fri/Sat (5 12/13) they are doing $2 hotdog/brat, chips and a drink.

They had some funky candy you can't get anywhere, and a whole wall of microbrew soda pops. That was interested and we bought a few snacks to enjoy.

Wife and I both go to Runnings here in Canandaigua. They must mail out same flyer each week to all States? because the one I get here has AR15 rifles in it on sale. Our flyer here each week says northeast edition, yet it has AR's in it often.

I have been to the one in Onondaga County and it's a pretty cool store. We usually buy one of their 2 man ladder stands for our hunting land every season.

It will, It's kind of like a tractor supply, combo wally world, combo garden, combo etc....

I go to the one in Rome every once and a while. I describe the store as a combo of tractor supply and gander mountain on steroids. The prices are on par with retail not too many deals. All in all I like the store and stop whenever I get a chance.

Was down that way Tuesday, stopped in the new store, first time at Runnings. Cool store, bought a few things, nothing exciting.
