They are not all tanks. Not being familiar with Armored divisions and the total number of vehicles they deploy when at full strength, I would think that many would equip a division, depending on what exactly they are.
Either way, its a big move, especially when you consider the caliber of the CIC and the fact that he has decimated the services by ousting the best war fighters, both officers and NCO's, keeping the toady's and those whose best skill is sucking their way to the top. There are still many good ones left, but not in the right position and all are constricted by a Hitler like authority over their decision making, and just what they are allowed to do.
