The Federal Court system is WAY more important and powerful a branch than it ever used to be, or was ever actually meant to be. Years ago, you barely heard anything about it, other than some notorious criminal being tried for Federal charges.

Now, literally everything's about the courts. You can't get your way in the Legislative branch, take them to court. The Executive branch does something you don't like or agree with, take them to court.

It's at the point where the Legislative branch just gets to sit around and get paid to do nothing other than a lot of finger pointing and playing the shell blame game.

A SCOTUS Justice passing away and being replaced shouldn't be this big of a deal. Used to be a real honor being chosen for the Supreme Court, the absolute pinnacle of a stellar legal career, chosen to defend the Constitution for the general welfare of the American people. Unfortunately, our Leftist Communist/Socialist friends are always trying to ram their ideals down my throat whether I like it or not.

Just minutes after news broke of Ginsburg's death, the left began threatening violence if President Trump and Leader McConnell moved forward on the vacancy. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer didn't even acknowledge Ginsburg's death before demanding her seat sit vacant until there's "a new president."

Yesterday, in a comment I posted immediately after the announcement that RGB had died, I predicted that the Dems would overplay their hand to their own detriment. I see they have already begun with threats of violence, arson, and riot. The next step is, predictably, actual violence, arson, and riots, because that played so well for the Dems in recent weeks.
They learned nothing by the loss of support due to the riots, and just days after the riots settled down, they’re getting ready to do it all over again.
Will they have smarts enough to contain the violence until after the election? I don’t think so. We might as well be dealing with children, for all the self-restraint and ability to delay gratification that they have.
