Legislators need to be held to a higher standard. They should not be allowed to make and pass legislation based on nothing more than their disgust for or fear of something. There needs to be an actual need for the new law. I want her to explain why 80% lowers are a public safety concern. Not because of what she thinks might happen but because of the actual data. For the love of God, pretty much everyone in the nation has a kitchen knife that doesn't have a serial number or they didn't go through a background check for, that MIGHT be used to hurt someone. Where is the legislation for that??? I want to know how many crimes have been committed with "ghost guns" or weapons build from 80% lowers. I bet Kaplan doesn't know.
