We kind of discourage this in the rules, though specifically what that applies most to is doing something like posting a thread that says "guns for sale email me for info". Here the info is largely provided, but it is still somewhat meant to discourage people from saying contact me outside the forum for info in a general sense.

In any case though, how are people supposed to contact you by email without knowing your email address ?
