Been thinking about adding a 45 ACP revolver to my stable. Will Probably have to wait until the new year to order a JM version. Anybody have one? If so what do you think about them?

well I already own a 610 and the moon clips issue is not really that big. The nice thing about moon clips for the 610 is being able to use 40 S&W and 10mm in it. I imagine I will be able to use 45 GAP as well as 45 ACP in a 625.

You can also shoot .45 super if you so choose. It's a good round and you will get 100 - 150 more Fps with a 230grn bullet

45ACP in a revolver is a thing every one should have, I had the Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt/45ACP and sold it. I kick myself in my ass every time I think about it.
The stainless S&W is in the mid range need to get. Not sure which model yet. they have one at a local gun shop on consignment. if it were gun shop gun I would of had it on lay-away last spring.
What ever you do go buy one and enjoy it, after you are tired of it you'll get your money back when you sell it.

Take a look at my two 625's that I posted in the picture thread. Maybe they will peak your interest again. 
I shot a 625 JM a few years ago and loved it. So much that I bought a thunder Ranch, which is very similar. I owned a 1917 Smith and Wesson replica of what my dad owned and taught me to shoot on. He must've sold it because after he passed I couldn't find it anywhere in the house. Anyhow I never did end up shooting the 1917 reproduction and ended up trading it on something else. What peaks my curiosity is the scandium version of the Thunder Ranch gun. It has a light rail mounting for on gun illumination and would be a perfect gun for someone who has less than optimal grip strength to rack the slide. Just thinking ahead to my twilight years.
I also owned but never shot a Lew Horton 2.5 inch snub that became a safe queen and got sold for a profit.
