I picked his revolver up a few months ago and haven't shot it yet. Tomorrow will be the day to send lead down the tube. It sure does feel good in my hand, I'll see how it feels with bullets being shot out of it in the morning.
I took this revolver ad several other guns out shooting on the 4th, Had a great time with my grandson and a veteran friend. We shot guns for just over four hours. This revolver was an impulse buy, I seen it at a pawn shop, didn't have one so I bought it. It shoots just fine, it feels great in my hand and feels decent shooting it.
I love Ruger & Smith & Wesson Revolvers, You can NEVER HAVE TO MANY!
One of the best deals on a Smith I got was on a nice 686 at Cabelas. I'll have to look at my books to see what I paid, but it was at a decent price.
I have two 586 revolvers, the blued one is in pristine condition with a 4" and 6" barrel. The nickle plated one is OK, but not up to what I like to have in my collection.
