I have to say it's a sweet looking pistol. Too bad since the only thing I did not like was the trigger. I already bought a Springfield xd so sw looses out. If the trigger was improved marginally I'd have bought this instead. I like sw as a brand and its American made. Maybe one day, but not now.

Get a sig 320 then in my opinion. Best striker trigger I have used.

The trigger is definitely an important factor. Lighter and crisper sounds good though, but that may just be marketing nonsense. My M&P is a little heavier than I would like and I don't want to pay for the apex kit.

I love the VP9. Everything about including the trigger.

This new S&W does little for me. I'll pass.

I read a few reviews and the trigger is supposed to be amazing. Of course amazing is arbitrary and a personal opinion. So my amazing and your amazing might be different. I have not fondled it yet.

The people saying 'amazing' also received sample early; not saying they're lying or being biased but wouldn't be the first time.

Apex Tactical Solutions Touts Triggers For New M&P M2.0 - The Truth About Guns

So even with my 'improved' trigger in the 2.0 Apex is still offering replacement parts. It will be interesting to see comparisons in the coming weeks. I love the Apex trigger in my Shield, though I feel it might be a tad light for a 'carry gun'. (IMO)
