S&W Model 65-5 specifications?

Seriously want to buy a S&W Model 65. The preferred unit would be the 3" but that's the #1 choice of the Model 65 folks.

So.....I am considering a 4" Model 65-5...I like the "non-recessed cylinder" . My question is - are the newer (4") 65-5 round butt or square? I know the 3" are round butt just don't know if S&W made the 4" with round butt with the -5 series.

If not...I will bob the hammer and make it a round butt.

the square butt feature was deleted in 1995-1996. that would make the earlier 65-4 available in square butt, but the later 65-4 in round but only. The 65-5 in 1998 would be the first production in round butt only.
