Under the semiautomatic "rifle" section of the Safe Act (aka Retard Act), this section describing forbidden features has me curious:
(iv) a second handgrip or a protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand;
Okay obviously a protruding second grip like the 1927A1 Tommy's and the Romanian "G" series AKMs, but as to the "second handgrip," does that mean that ANY AKM/AK47 not in an SKS style continuous stock is illegal?
It seems once the "second grip" forward of the receiver and separated from the buttstock on an AKM/AK47 is installed, whether flat or protruding, it now violates section (iv)......................so that means regardless of the "spur" or kydex, does that mean the forward grip must not be installed???
Thanks
