Safest non safe act place?

In your opinion where do you think in the state of NY is the best place to live as a free man? Good sheriff's and cops or District attorneys who like the 2nd Amendment. If I never get to leave I want to try my best to surround myself with good people if that's even possible here.

The question should be, "Which NY county is the most rural with the least amount of police."

That would be the safest place. Somewhere where you are in the middle of nowhere and the police have a difficult trek to get to your residence. I don't know if such a place would exist.

When you have you CCW, you can take home your pistol the when you purchase it without going to the clerks office first. you have 10 days to get it put on your permit. Plus they only issue non restricted.

I'd be mostly worried about a call because of noise and and hot shot "I'm a cop and have more rights" state cop transfer from downstate come to bust your balls.

I can't say for sure it's the best, but I second the vote for Livingston county as a great place to live if it weren't in NY.

Yes. Open fields doctrine. Only an enclosed curtilage around a home is protected against police entry. If you're off shooting in your own land (as opposed to a fenced backyard) they can just waltz on in.

State line area west of Binghamton. Chemung, Steuben, Allegheny, Catt and Chautauqua counties. Probably the most desolate area of state outside of ADK wilderness but that isn’t a viable place to live.
