@GuyMontag comes from the other side and has been around for years and if you do a little research you will find out that he is a well documented, well versed, level headed individual one can actually have a decent discussion or argument with. It doesn't mean he is right on everything, nobody is, but why we have to piss all over when someone doesn't agree with some republicans or some questionable "conservative" tactics?

Many people liked the McCain Palin team but IMO this was the worse choice they made. There are many men and women a lot smarter and better qualified that at least would had avoided ridiculous speeches. I am not a major in English but I do speak 4 languages fluently and one thing I do admire is basic education, and a gift with words. It is not about just talking and using technicalities, but about being able to convey ideas, inspire people and be able to connect with logic
and smart arguments that many people in the working class, and not just intellectuals, can appreciate.

We had those inspiring speakers and leaders before, The founding Fathers, FDR, Patton, King, Edward Murrow, Sir Winston Churchill, etc...

IMO presidential dignity died with President Reagan. After that it has been nothing but a parade of clowns one after another. BJs at the whitehouse, Raping the constitution, then Ubuntu, etc...

Find a video where McCain refers to the Spanish referendum of Spain "in Mexico". Palin had similar mishaps all over that only show how ill prepared
they are in terms of general education, culture, global issues and whatever else. Clinton had a nice speech but 90% of what came out of his mouth was a lie. He lied flat straight to all the American people but because his lack of ethics and shame, he stayed on. Bush junior made up new English language words like the popular "they misunderstimated us"... Pelosi, Waters, etc... don't even get me started on those.

IMO this is the people and the media's fault. The standards have been lowered to rock bottom. No education, no ethics, no nothing.
